The Project Manager is a varied administrative role, encompassing all aspects of running the Arajuno Road Project in Ecuador. Applicants need to have skills in several different fields, including accounting and administration, people management, excellent communicative and organisational skills, as well as basic practical maintenance skills.
The Teaching Coordinator role is responsible for the running of the teaching program at the Arajuno Road Project in Ecuador. Applicants need to have teaching experience and a high level of Spanish and English. They should also have experience managing a group of people and knowledge of volunteering overseas.
The Teaching Coordinator is to ensure that the project fulfills its aims with regards to the advancement of education, while ensuring that the volunteers, children and schools have a productive and rewarding experience.
At Great Aves, our mission is to raise educational standards worldwide. The Arajuno Road Project, our maiden project in Amazonian Ecuador, serves the local community by providing the knowledge, expertise, and volunteers necessary to achieve a lasting positive impact. The project consists of the teaching program, aimed at assisting local schools, and the new community development program, aimed at educating local community members about the benefits of environmentally sustainable practices.
